We will introduce Homopolymer PP to you.
Product Introduction:
Homopolymer PP (PPH or PP-H) is a pure polypropylene plastic polymerized entirely from a single propylene monomer [thepaper.cn]. It is the world’s most produced and cost-effective general-purpose thermoplastic, with a highly regular molecular structure and high crystallinity, and is renowned in the industry for its high hardness and high heat resistance.
Sinopec Zhongtian Hechuang T03 (commonly labeled PPH-T03 in the industry) is a classic general-purpose fiber-grade homopolymer polypropylene (PP) raw material. In the plastics trading and processing industry, it is currently the most widely used “mainstream currency” in the plastic weaving, fiber, and packaging markets of North and East China.
Product Advantages:
1.Melt flow rate (MFR/melt index): Typically between 2.5 and 3.5 g/10min (typically around 3.0), falling within the standard low melt index, extrusion-grade material property range.
2.Isotactic index: Up to 96% – 97.4%, indicating a pure and highly ordered homopolymer crystal structure with extremely high rigidity.
3.Tensile yield strength: 32 – 34.5 MPa, ensuring excellent tensile and load-bearing properties in downstream filament products.
Application Areas:
Woven Plastic Products (Core Application): Widely used in the production of cement bags, flour bags, fertilizer bags, FIBCs (bulk bags), various light and heavy-duty woven bags, as well as tarpaulins for sunshades and industrial tarpaulins.
Fibers and Ropes: Production of binding ropes, film-split fiber filaments, industrial carpet base fabric, woven ropes, etc.
Sheets and Films: Due to their low melt index and high melt strength, they are very suitable for extrusion processing of various everyday hollow plastic sheets, non-pressure-bearing plastic sheets, and packing straps.
General-Purpose Injection Molding: Although mainly used for fiber drawing, due to their high flow stability, they are also often used in injection molding of general-purpose everyday products that do not require strong low-temperature resistance but require high heat resistance and high rigidity (such as disposable plastic water cups, microwave-safe food containers, food storage containers, etc.).
